Housewives

What do housewives actually do? By the sound of the title and our judgments, most people would think that all that housewives do is just sit around all day, watch television with their feet put up and do nothing else... But actually there is more to that. Most households have helpers that help them clean while the man and wife are out to work. When you are a housewife, you don’t need that help because you do it all on your own. Housewives have so many duties that they have to attend to.
They are described as an “individual married woman whose main occupation is running or operating the family's home, caring for and educating her children, cooking and storing food, buying goods the family needs in day to day life, cleaning or maintaining parts of the home, does not generally maintain employment outside the home.”
These women have to wake up earlier than the rest of the family to prepare breakfast, iron any uniform that needs to be ironed, make lunch for the husband and kids, and make sure they look appropriate to leave for school and work. Once that is over they have the whole house to take care of and ensure that it is spotless. Laundry will be next; washing and ironing the clothes. Later on comes preparing lunch for the kids after fetching them from school. Cooking dinner in the evening where you make sure that it is a properly home-cooked meal that your family will enjoy after a long day. And then after it all, washing the dishes and making sure the kitchen is tidy.
This is really a fulltime job for housewives, when the day is done I can only imagine how exhausted they will be feeling, only to wake up the next day and do the same thing over again. So we do see that there is so much more to what  housewives do than what people think.
